About Perper Lunch

Pepper Lunch (ペッパーランチ Peppaa-ranchi) is a “”fast-steak”” restaurant concept that originated in Japan in 1994.

It was created by Japanese chef and inventor, Mr. Kunio Ichinose who wanted to serve quality, fast food without the need to train a chef for years.

Pepper Lunch promises a dynamic and fresh culinary experience for everyone by presenting the novel concept of a sizzling steak cooked on our very own patented Iron Plate. You can enjoy juicy steak with a sizzle at affordable prices.

Secret of our Iron Plate

With its unique design patented in Japan, the iron plate is part of the successful formula of Pepper Lunch.

Using a special electromagnetic cooker also patented in Japan, the iron plate will heat up to 260C in 70 seconds and remain hot (approximately 80C) for more than 20 minutes. Meat grilled at this ideal high temperature, remains tender and juicy. The plate keeps food warm for a longer time and customers can enjoy the full flavor of the dish.

Choice cuts of beef, chicken, pork and salmon are served with rice and vegetables for guests to cook and season using flavors of teriyaki, onion sauce, honey brown sauce (Amakuchi) or garlic soy sauce (Karakuchi)—and that dash of freshly ground pepper to give you that delicious, flavor-filled meal, pepper lunch

There are over 200 Pepper Lunch outlets in Japan and all over Asia, including South Korea, China, Taiwan, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand and the Philippines.
And for the first time, we are now here in Vietnam! Our first outlet opened on the 10th October 2012 at B3 of UnionSquare
